All prices are listed in Icelandic Krona (ISK), as shown on our website. Prices and departures are confirmed once full payment has been received.
Tours operated by Otto the Viking are subject to Icelandic weather, road, and general travel conditions. Your safety is always our highest priority.
Otto the Viking reserves the right to modify the itinerary, adjust the route, change the schedule, or cancel a tour before departure due to weather, road closures, safety concerns, natural conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control.
All tour cancellations must be made two days before the scheduled departure date and should be submitted by email to info@ottotheviking.is. We recommend that customers keep a copy of their cancellation email for future reference.
No refund will be issued if a customer arrives late or does not show up for the tour. This also applies even in poor weather conditions and if Otto the Viking is still able to operate the tour safely.
We strongly recommend that all customers have appropriate travel insurance. This may include coverage for cancellations, delays, medical expenses, accidents, lost belongings, and other unforeseen circumstances during travel in Iceland.
Otto the Viking is not responsible for losses, expenses, delays, itinerary changes, missed flights, road closures, changes to other transport services, strikes, accidents, illness, injury, damage, negligence by third parties, weather conditions, natural events, war, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Otto the Viking does not accept responsibility for accidents, injury, or death that result from a customer’s own negligence, the actions of third parties, or external circumstances such as weather, road conditions, natural events, or other similar causes.
Customers are responsible for following the instructions of their guide at all times during the tour.
All personal information provided to Otto the Viking will be treated as confidential. We will not sell, share, or disclose personal information to third parties, except where required by law or necessary to provide the booked service.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Icelandic law. Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Icelandic courts.
